SWEET CHILLI TOFU DUMPLINGS

 Ingredients:


1 tofu
4 tsp crispy chillies (in oil)
8 rice paper sheets
Olive oil for frying

For the tofu marinade:
1 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil

For the tofu batter:
60g breadcrumbs
1 tsp chilli flakes

For the dipping sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp crispy chillies (in oil)
1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:
1️⃣ Press the tofu, then cut into 8 pieces.

2️⃣ Combine marinade ingredients in a wide bowl. Add tofu and stir until all pieces are evenly coated. 

3️⃣ Combine breadcrumbs and chilli flakes in a shallow bowl.

4️⃣ Place the tofu in the breadcrumbs and press down a little to make the coating stick to the tofu.

5️⃣ Pan fry the tofu until golden brown.

6️⃣ Dip rice paper into cold water for a few seconds, then place a tofu piece in the centre of it. Top with ½ tsp crushed chillies. Fold to form a dumpling.

7️⃣ Pan fry in the same pan until golden and crispy on all sides.

8️⃣ Serve with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!
